Did not fit together correctly

Did not fit together correctly.

The stand uses half-lap joints and is designed for 0.75' material, as noted in the instructions. The pieces should be sanded until they fit together smoothly—if the material is too thick, they won’t fit; if it’s too thin, the fit will be loose. For other material thicknesses, the half-laps need to be adjusted accordingly. I would have been happy to walk you through this or provide a solution if you had reached out before leaving your review.

Out“stand”ing Design – Easy Cut, Perfect Fit, Beautiful Finish

I purchased this SVG to go with a personalized cutting board gift, and I couldn't be happier. The file downloaded easily, the cut was smooth on my CNC, and the instructions were spot-on. I planed my walnut to 0.72" thickness as recommended, and the pieces fit together perfectly without any sanding to fit. The stand sits completely flat and feels solid and stable.

I used a 1/4" compression bit for the cut and hand-sanded a small roundover on the edges. After finishing with cutting board oil and wax, the walnut really came to life. I added a custom engraving to the side for a personal touch to match the cutting board, and it turned out beautifully.

If you’re thinking of gifting a board, this stand takes it to the next level. Truly an out“stand”ing design!
